Why Elizabeth?

Located in the center of Jo Daviess County, Elizabeth is known for its rolling hills, beautiful scenery and friendly people. The recipient of the Illinois 2010 Governor’s Home Town award, Elizabeth is an exceptional village in which to live, conduct business or stay a spell and visit .

Elizabeth was incorporated in 1868 and provides a glimpse of the past as well as maintaining an up to date infrastructure.  The addition of the iFiber data network provides extremely high speed (up to 1 GB) network transport services to both the public and private sector.  The backbone of iFiber is 20 GB east and west with a 100 GB trunk.
